I'ara Specialist Support Coordination means 'Village' A village that doesn't just include our beautiful staff but families also.
These two beauties are Nat in Innisfails kiddies that wanted to teams our Regional Leader Leona to say thank you for the guinea pigs 🥰
We dont just support our interal village - we support the external also - even if that means a side quest on a Thursday night to Mareeba to pick up 2 Guinea Pigs and drop off in Cairns to make 2 little girlies super happy 🤣🤣🤣
So now we welcome Rex and Jinx to the Village also 🤦♀️

**When quality support coordination changes lives.**
Our client is a stroke survivor who spent 7 years waiting for NDIS support. When it finally came in 2019, his funding fell short and his Support Coordinator at the time couldn't deliver what his family needed.
He's nonverbal. His wife was burning out. His plan was nowhere near adequate. On top of that he lived ina regional area with limited services.
Then our team stepped in. Our Support Coordinator, Renee, in Innisfail met this family, making multiple home visits, meeting them where they were, truly listening to what they needed. She worked closely with his wife, restructured his plan, and got him properly supported.
His NDIS plan went from $280,000 to $1,000,000.
This is what happens when you have a Support Coordinator who genuinely understands the NDIS, who isn't afraid to provide system advocacy for what participants actually need, and who shows up consistently for families in regional areas.
So many people in rural and regional Australia fall through the cracks. And when they do get support, it's often not good enough. The funding is insufficient. The coordinators lack the expertise. Families burn out.
