Last week, our team created a Resilience Tree, each leaf carrying the words our staff chose to describe what resilience means here at i’ara:

Our recent Workplace Mental Health Survey scored well above the national human-services benchmarks indicating our team feel safe, respected, and empowered.

Today, we’re proud to celebrate a special milestone at i’ara Specialist Support Coordination, we’ve just signed off our 8TH JCU: James Cook University, Australia social work student completing their final placement with us! 🎓✨
Each of these students has brought new energy, ideas, and passion to the work we do supporting people across regional Queensland, and it’s been a privilege to help shape the next generation of social workers.
For a regionally based organisation, being able to offer high-quality, real-world learning opportunities in complex support coordination is something we’re deeply proud of.
To our incredible team who mentor, teach, and walk alongside our students, thank you. And to our graduates- congratulations on earning your Master of Social Work! 👏
